DIGITAL PRODUCT DESIGN · STARTUPS + PRODUCT TEAMS

THE RIGHT PRODUCT,MADE EASY TO USE.

I help small teams turn an early idea or an awkward existing product into a tested flow, a clear interface and decisions the development team can use.

02WHAT THIS INCLUDES
01

Understand the problem

I speak to users and staff, review existing feedback and look at the current product, so the team knows what needs to change before any screens get drawn.

02

Shape a realistic scope

I organise the requirements, content and user journeys, then separate the first useful release from ideas that can wait. This gives the team a product it can build and test.

03

Build a testable prototype

I design the important flows and make the difficult interactions realistic enough to test. Findings are recorded as concrete changes the team can act on.

04

Support through the build

I prepare responsive states and reusable interface patterns, answer implementation questions and review the working product. I can also build frontend parts in React and TypeScript.

03FROM EVIDENCE TO PRODUCT CHANGE

THE FIELD TEST FOUND WHERE PEOPLE DROPPED OFF.

Medienkundig combined an open survey, police expert interviews and a small field test. The field test showed people beginning the experience, then dropping at registration.

RESEARCH INPUT

241 USABLE SURVEY RESPONSES

Plus two police expert interviews and an unmoderated field test reached through personal referrals.

PRODUCT CHANGE

Registration became passwordless and was reframed as saving progress instead of creating an account.

04 / DIGITAL PRODUCT DESIGN

THERISKY PARTSARE WORTH TESTING EARLY.

A prototype is useful when it settles a real product question. I focus testing on the decisions that would be costly to discover after the full build.

06FAQ

QUESTIONS I OFTEN GET

No. An early idea, a known business problem or an existing product with recurring complaints is enough to begin. The first part of the work turns that material into a brief the team can make decisions against.
